Another great episode Riki! I love Josh Radnor in “How I Met Your Mother” and didn’t realize the many other projects he has worked on. I will definitely have to check them out!

P.S. If I lived in LA I would totally be in your euchre club! I’m also a midwesterner and used to play it a lot in high school!

    Dear Riki,

I have been listening for a while but wasn’t aware of a way to contact or respond to any of the podcasts until now. I love the show and am planning to start my foray into comedy very soon. I have to say that your show has been the deciding factor in a lot of my choices lately. I have you to thank for the inspirational assembling of some of my favorite comics/writers/actors. Their advice, as well as your own, have aided in my decision to take risks I would have otherwise not taken and hopefully succeed, though I figure that the whole living on ramen thing will have to continue. If I had a request, I would love to see if you could get Louis CK or Patton Oswalt on the show, I would really like some of their advice but honestly it’s all the same now, just do it, and I love that. They are saying what I’ve been trying to convince myself of for years. Though this one wasn’t my favorite being as how I have slight contempt for people who think that art is ever a gift from a higher being and should be treated as a have it or not subject (which is how it came off), rather than speaking about the craft and those who work harder and more tirelessly than anyone else. Josh Radnor was gifted with more luck than anyone I’ve heard speak on your show– landing in a theatre company right out of Grad school and a career bursting forth is mythic its so rare. (I of course mean no offense to Mr. Radnor, I’m sure he’s a great guy and seemed pleasant on the show.) My venom aside, I just wanted to reach out and say that your show is helping someone out there and even though I don’t think you and Kate will ever make it to Jonesboro, AR, just know that you have a fan here.

I LOVE THAT BOTH OF YOU GUYS PLAY EUCHRE!! I just recently moved from Ohio (a HUGE euchre playing state) to Arizona and nobody plays it here so it was nice to see that the game is alive and well and that celebrities play it too! PS if you ever need a 4th player I’m available

  4. […] to start: I particularly love the interviews with Josh Radnor (which I referenced in my last post), Felicia Day, and Robert Ben […]
